Out for a morning walk today, no destination in particular, just stretching my legs, clearing the cobwebs. Next thing I know I walk right into the middle of Times Square - a place I usually avoid like the plague. Still, there is something fascinating about this shrine to American pop culture, and no matter how many times I've been there its' sheer enormity is always a bit of a shock to me. As an American there is this weird sense of pride blended with repulsion when I stand and slowly turn. I put this collage together as an attempt to illustrate its' . . . grandeur? Below are a couple of the individual shots from the grouping.
