Manhattan - Day 40

Back to Manhattan yesterday afternoon after a night New Jersey visiting Mary Ann's family. We dropped off the bags here at GTS and set off on a walking tour of my NewYork. First stop Doma for a coffee and then a walk down Bleeker Street ending up at BareBurger for a bite to eat.

A beautiful night for a walk, and the need to do such after the dinner we ate, we strolled back through the village before calling it a day.

Today we kicked around the village, starting with breakfast at the Bus Stop Cafe (loyal readers do we see a pattern here?) then toff to check out the Occupy Wall Street encampment. On the way down I snapped this pic of Mary Ann on the train.

Tonight it's off to Greater Jamaica Development Corp's annual Gala.

The 100 films . . .

In this blog I'll be writing about the 100 films that shaped, in some way large or small, who I am today. They won't be presented in any particular order and not all of them will make this list because they are great or even particularly good films. Perhaps some will be represented for a tiny, seemingly insignificant scene or line – something that I carry with me each day, while others will be here because I can slip into them like a well worn sweatshirt that you slide on when you're feeling down. Some will be works of art that continue to challenge, enlighten, or amaze me while others will be included simply because they continue to entertain me viewing after viewing. To others, some of films that will appear here might be considered great while others . . . well . . . might not be considered worth considering. Anyway, here it goes. Hang on my friends, the new year is here and I am off and running.
